Zerkhez Plus 8:23:18 is a well known fertilizer product of Engrow chemicals company. Owing to the well balanced proportion of three major elements marketed at proper lower, it is considered as a very useful and alternate of DAP, MAP fertilizers for most of the field crops especially potato and sugarcane. Being hygroscopic in nature, it is very useful as basal application for rain fed areas and available at price lower than most other mixed formulations. It can be used in most soils but poor resuts in the sandy loam soils. Being a slow action fertilizer, it could not get widespread acceptability among the farmers.
