A brief look at the CW and NWP from my 1992 California trip. We begin with the daily mixed leaving Ft. Bragg, followed by the "Skunk" rail car, an ACF Motorail dating from the 1930's. At the time the NWP was being operated by the North Coast Rail Authority using leased SP "Cadillacs", giving the look and feel of the old NWP. We also catch a brief glimpse of equipment from the defunct Eureka Southern operation. Shortly after this video operations north of Willits ceased, and eventually most of the line was embargoed.
