Описание к видео Nutrient Density Explained: How To Eat 10x More Nutrients & No Extra Calorie! 😮

Nutrient Density Explained: Whereas the nutrient density per mass or volume is important for satiety, they are not important for the nutritious value of foods! It is the nutrient density per calorie that is the most important factor for nutrition!

You can find the nutrient density per mass or volume on nutrition fact labels. Sadly, the nutrient density per calorie is rarely used, and you might need to calculate that on your own!

Non-starchy vegetables, fruits, starchy vegetables, cooked intact grains and legumes contain very high amounts of water, so only looking at mass or volume, you easily underestimate the nutritous value of these foods! In fact, they are the most nutrient dense foods in existence!

Some vegetables are very high in protein, easily beating most protein bars on the market, in terms of protein per calorie! Amazing!

It is important to understand that you do not need to cover your nutrients with the least amount of food possible. There is no need to eat foods that are ultra high in protein to cover your daily protein needs!
