2. stardome / when the cities with their electric lights are left far behind, hundreds of billions of stars emerge in the sky. there are so many of them that it seems every millimeter of the celestial vault is dotted with shimmering diamonds. on a moonless night, one can imagine looking down at the sky, like into an abyss with no beginning or end & we are also looking into the past, through billions of years that the light of distant stars needs to cross the universe and reflect on the retinas of our eyes, already accustomed to the darkness.
