I am so frustrated and tired of this fight I barely wanna talk about it. I feel like SE saw my complaints about Chapter’s CQ and decided they had to one-up themselves. I lost count of the amount of times I lost due to bullshit mechanics and speed a complete asshole. Odin absolutely adores getting instant turns right before using zantetsuken which is basically death. Or getting instant turn right after zantetsuken which is basically also death (albeit for only one person). And let’s not talk about not being able to squeeze Noctis right after he does zantetsuken for chase... that also is death. I’m positive at this point they actually are promoting people cheesing the shit out of fights bc actually having to deal with mechanics is absolutely hell.

Things I had to do that aren’t seen in this video:
1) removed Ramuh’s ibrv passive on Noctis to make him tank the first attack bc Odin targets lowest ibrv and if he targets Cecil he never gets the chance to battery party and die right after the first zantetsuken.
2) increase Cecil’s mbrv enough to make sure his brv+ battery’d for more than 10k so people would survive zantetsuken (reason why you also see his crap sphere equipped)
3) actually reset a lot on turn 0 bc if I didn’t have a very specific turn order Cecil would again, not have time to brv+, and thus die.

I’m just gonna forget this fight exists.
