Papanasanathar Temple in Papanasam, a village in Tirunelveli district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to Hindu god Shiva. It is located 60 km from Tirunelveli. Constructed in the Dravidian architecture, the temple has three precincts. Shiva is worshipped as Papanasanathar and his consort Parvathi as Ulagammai.

பாபநாசநாதர் கோயில், திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம், பாபநாசத்தில் உள்ள சிவன் கோயிலாகும். இது ஒரு தேவார பாடல் பெற்ற தலம். திருநெல்வேலியிலிருந்து சுமார் 50 கிமீ தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது. திராவிடக் கட்டிடக்கலையில் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. இக்கோயிலின் இறைவன் பாபநாசநாதர், இறைவி உலகம்மை ஆவர். கோயிலின் அனைத்துக் கருவறைகளயும் உள்ளடக்கியவாறு கோயிலைச் சுற்றிக் கருங்கல் சுற்றுச்சுவர் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சாளுக்கிய பாண்டியர்களால் கட்டப்பட்ட இக்கோயில் பின்னர் 16ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் விஜயநகர அரசர்களாலும் நாயக்கர் அரசர்களாலும் மேலும் விரிவுபடுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. நாயக்கர் காலக் கலைப்பாணியிலான சிற்பங்கள் இக்கோயிலில் காணப்படுகின்றன.
