Teach your kid to drive. Teaching your son or daughter to learn to drive is a great way to bond, but as the parent you need to set your expectations. You need to understand that at the beginning of the first few driving lessons your son or daughter will make slow progress in your eyes, but big progress their eyes. What you do without thinking, such as getting in your car and driving off safely in the matter of a minute or two, will take them up to 5 minutes or even double that to complete correctly and safely.
