Coaxial Rotor in Helicopters | Skill-Lync

Описание к видео Coaxial Rotor in Helicopters | Skill-Lync

Helicopters normally have a main rotor used to lift it off the ground and a rear rotor for directional control. The coaxial rotor is a design aspect where the rear rotor is eliminated. The Coaxial rotors have a pair of rotors mounted one above the other on concentric shafts, with the same axis of rotation, but turning in opposite directions. In this video we talk on how the development for the coaxial rotor came about and also the working behind it.
