Brazil in 2022: Horseback excursion São Paulo

Brazil is especially well known for its coastline. There's the enormous city of Rio de Janeiro that sits on the Atlantic Ocean. Other cities in the North of Brazil like Recife, Fortaleza, and Salvador share the Atlantic Coastline too, but with arguably better beaches than the rest of the country.

With so many beaches, it's easy to not think twice of Brazil's interior (unless of course you're thinking of the Amazon).

But there are other stunning parts of the interior that have THE BEST places to ride horses and be in a country setting. And that's why we're going to Cunha, a mountainous municipality in the state of São Paulo.

Cunha has a rich history (literally) as it was a part of the Estrada Real, a route Portuguese explorers used to transport gold and gems that were found in the border state, Minas Gerais.
