107 Cobra Kai Facts You Should Know! | Cinematica

In 1984, the world saw the beginning of the Karate Kid franchise, and as with any new piece of original work in Hollywood, one movie’s unforeseen success can quickly lead to many more. With seven entries in the franchise, Karate Kid is definitely one of the most successful franchises out there, even though the general consensus is that the original 1984 movie seemed to be the best entry. Many decades have passed and the world has forgotten about this iconic moment in sports history, but one man decides to reclaim his former glory and turn things around. 34 years after the fateful fight between 17-year-old Daniel LaRusso and his rival Johnny Lawrence, the doors of the Cobra Kai dojo open once again, and Johnny Lawrence is ready to make a comeback.

For the sake of this video, we’re going to assume that you have seen or are at least familiar with the original Karate Kid movies, because really, you cannot talk about Cobra Kai without looking back at what made it possible in the first place.
