E90 Engine AC bypass/Whining Noise fixed-Problem diagnosed

A while back I started hearing a whining noise coming from my BMW E90 N52 engine. It sounded like a wind-up car or one of those little cars that kids drive. Sounded like the car was low on power steering fluid or that the alternator had gone bad. In fact, it was the AC compressor. I'm my instance the pulley had a bearing that was shot so I just replaced the bearing and kept the pulley but you can replace the entire pulley itself. Also check that your AC compressor refrigerant levels aren't low as sometimes that will cause a sound.
