In this proof of concept, I convert this 2x alkaline D cell electric fly swatter to run on a single 3.7v 18650 lithium ion battery. I used a 1/4" drive deep socket as a dummy 2nd battery and wrapped both the socket and 18650 battery in foam packaging sheet material to match the larger diameter of the D cell batteries. The fly swatter stopped working for some reason after taking out a few flies so do this at your own risk. If this was helpful, drop a like!
