Today we spent a whole day of eating one of China’s most popular and best food cultures, the Sichuan kitchen here in Chengdu! 🇨🇳

We started our day with a Sichuan staple of super spicy Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) and Kung Pao Chicken (宫保鸡丁) which both had the signature mala taste and the spiciness that this region is so famous for.
After that we went to a Chinese supermarket to see what the locals shop here in China, and we got some interesting treats like lime chips and some dried rabbit. The grocery store had a super wide selection with really interesting options and quite good prices.

Of course we had to grab a coconut latte from Luckin (瑞幸咖啡) our favorite coffee shop in all of China!

For lunch we went for a quick snack, grabbing some flatbread filled with meat (锅盔)on the streets of Chengdu.

Our dinner was the famous Sichuan Hot Pot (麻辣火锅), by far the most popular eating style here in Chengdu! And this was by far the coolest eating experience we had so far in China; they had crazy shows with the mask turning and tea waiters. And the taste was even better! Such a cool way of eating Hotpot.

What a day of eating in one of the food capitals in China!
