Removing e-clip from OEM passenger pegs

Installing the Shrike Mounts system is easy. We're often told that removing the e-clip around the OEM passenger peg is the hardest part of the install process. See this video for some tips on removing the e-clip. If you're not comfortable with this process, consult a skilled mechanic.

These clips tend to fly off, so it's best to remove the peg in a clean, open area.  That way, you're more likely to quickly find the e-clip if it springs away from the bike. 

Remember to use proper care so you don't damage the finish on your motorcycle. Also, be sure to collect all the parts/pieces in a re-sealable bag so the OEM peg can be re-installed later.
