Richter finishes his interrogation with Polina, returns her to the cell only to find Lucas in a brawl with Arthur. As a part of their escape plan, Lucas expresses his interest in giving information in exchange for his freedom, and is taken away next to speak with Richter.

At this point Richter has gathered the pieces of intel he's gotten and deduces that there's some kind of grand plan involving Freisinger, he wants to know what (and possibly get involved in the cool kids club). Richter wants to know Lucas's story and see if he can sniff out any traces of Freisinger's story from it.

1941, we meet the Anglo-Australian forces stationed in North Africa. A small team led by Major Hamms is tasked to ambush a German convoy. While the Major wants to capture the convoy with its supplies, it is blown to bits. As punishment, Lucas and his mate Des are ordered to pursue a few escaped Germans on foot. Little do they know they've stepped into the lion's den, the trail of the German stragglers eventually leads them to an entire supply base. Too far away from help and unable to leave it alone, they proceed to destroy the base.
