How to replace the transmission drive shaft on a Bosch Universal Plus Mixer where the bowl connects to the mixer.

The original transmission drive that Bosch uses can rust or strip out over time causing the bowl to get stuck to the base of the mixer or for the bowl shaft to not spin at all.
