Welcome back to Kerbal Space Program with the Realism Overhaul (RP-1) mod! After a successful flyby, we're returning to Venus, and this time, we plan to stay. 🪐

Our mission is to fulfill a contract by placing a scientific probe into a stable orbit around Venus, with a specific requirement to keep our apoapsis below 278 megameters. To achieve this, we've designed a powerful, multi-stage rocket with enough Delta-V for the entire journey: from launch and Earth orbit, through the long interplanetary transfer, to the crucial capture burn at Venus.

Our probe is equipped for a long-duration mission, powered by RTGs and carrying four key scientific instruments:

🔬 Micrometeorite Detector
🔬 Mass Spectrometer
🔬 Radiation Detector

Join us as we navigate the challenges of realistic spaceflight, including a full year of research and a two-year wait for the perfect transfer window! Witness the thunderous launch of our massive rocket, the precision of the ejection burn, and the tense moments of capturing our probe in Venusian orbit.

We not only complete the contract but also push the mission further by lowering our periapsis into low Venus space to gather even more valuable data, netting us over 400 science points and setting us up for our next great adventure: a mission to orbit Mars!
