The new hero has released, Dragon of the Vast Sea, Yun!

In this video, I will be testing her potential in Arena!

I believe her best teams will either be Triple DMG or 2 DMG with 1 Defensive Party Buff. Team suggestions are below:

Yun + Lina + Crosselle
Yun + Lina + Morrian
Yun + Lina + Rosetta
Yun + Erina + Plague Doctor
Yun + Erina + KAI

Due to her party buff, Yun is pretty flexible. As long as you don't use her with additional crit party buffers, or use her with melee buffers / element buffers, she should be able to fit into a variety of teams.

Yun is definitely designed for raids, however her kit seems to be strong in Arena too. It is very reliant on her landing critical hits, so make sure you give her maximum crit equipment (cards and relic).

Her passive skill gives her damage increase and damage reduction based on alive party members. It does indeed work in the Arena. If you have Yun in your first slot, she will deal 30% more damage. If you have Yun in your second slot, she will deal 20% more damage and take 10% less damage. If you have Yun in your final slot, she will deal 10% more damage and take 20% less damage.

In my opinion, it is best to use her in the first slot, because this gives her the most damage output, however you can use her in whatever slot you'd like.

Yun's best equipment will of course be the Earth Necklace, but if you can't use that, then a Mirror Accessory of the water element with good rolls would be ideal. Ice Queen Ring is also a good piece of equipment for her, as it boosts her crit chance as well as having similar rolls to a Water Mirror Accessory. For Merch, always use Mad Panda Trio trophy, as it is an essential in the Arena. This can save your Yun from dying, and may even win you some matches. Always use Yun with her EX weapon, because without it she is significantly weaker.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR!!

Yun has limited ammo, so be sure not to run out. You can stop attacking to allow for it to recharge again, as it recharges very quickly. Her weapon skill cooldown is quite long, so it does not seem like she will be able to easily out-chain opponents, however the ailment on it is quite high.

Yun seems to not like dogfighting, unless she has elemental disadvantage. You want to try to "kite" the opponent, by running away whilst using your attacks, keeping them out of range. Her weapon skill has high ailment, so you can chain opponents in two uses of it. You are guaranteed to chain after landing three.

Yun does not like to face units like Plague Doctor, because he can easily chase her, as well as having enough range to hit her. She also has quite frail toughness, so make sure that you play her carefully.

Yun is the water element, so obviously earth units are going to cause her some issues, however don't be discouraged if the opponent has an earth unit, as you can still win if you play your cards right.

Yun will not be good on maps which are too closed, as she will have nowhere to run, and no walls to hide behind. She will however be good on maps such as closed classroom, ancient ruins, and survival game.

Overall, due to Yun's insanely high damage output, I believe she has good potential in the Arena, but will need to be played cautiously.
