I accidentally broke the Official scoop for my Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker. 3D printing is an area that interests me, and I had been looking for a starter project, to get my feet wet in this growing field.

Proud to say, that instead of buying a replacement, I made my own! It's working great so far. I took a few steps to counter concerns of mold / bacteria, making this "food-grade" or safe to be used with food.

The filament material is 'natural' ABS (no coloring). I used the lowest layer height available for the Da Vinci, 0.05 mm (50 μm) per layer. This minimized gaps and crevices for moisture to hide.

I also sanded it post printing, and finished with a food safe polyurethane coating.
