Stephanie at Hightower Stitching provides a tutorial for making 8" colorful blocks from a vintage quilt made from 1 1/2" light and dark fabric strips. The center square is 2 1/2". Four blocks are sewn together for a table runner. Appropriate for the sewing machine or hand stitching.
