🎥 Exploring a Winter Wonderland: Photographing Keansburg Amusement Park in the Snow
Hey everyone, welcome back to our channel! Today, I'm taking you on a journey through one of the most unique spots in New Jersey: Keansburg Amusement Park. But there's a twist – it's closed for the winter, covered in a blanket of snow!
Growing up, this place was my playground. Riding freestyle bicycles and skateboards around the rides and attractions, I developed a deep connection with this quirky town. And now, armed with the Hasselblad Xpan and the exquisite Lunar Landing Anniversary Edition Hasselblad 500 EL/M, I'm capturing its eerie beauty in the off-season.
There's something so oddly enchanting about Keansburg in winter. The silence that replaces the usual buzz of excitement, the contrast of vibrant colors against the snow-white backdrop
For this shoot, I decided to mix things up with a variety of films. Using expired Fuji Pro 400H in medium format, along with Fuji Superia 400 in 35mm, and Ilford XP2 a C41 black and white in medium format. Each film stock brings its own unique character to the table.
Films developed at Richard Photo Lab in California. Big shoutout to Camera Culture in Red Bank, NJ, for hooking me up with these fantastic films. Their expertise and passion for analog photography’s awesome.
