Dayara Bugyal Part 2:


Dayara Bugyal is a meadow in the Uttarakhand mountains with its vast expanse, it is paradise for trekkers and an all season trek that too for beginners.
It has an average height of 12,910 ft. This was a winter trek made in the month of March.
In spring, there is contrast of greenery of the grasslands and red and pink rhododendrons.  In winters, the Bugyal turns into snow land with capability of skiing and snow activities. The trek is open throughout the year except the monsoon. Views of the Garhwal Himalayas, including  Nanda Devi, Draupadi ka Danda, Srikanth, Bandarpunch and Swargarohini can be seen from Dayara Bugyal.

Day 1- Haridwar - Raithal (235km, 9 hrs) in Force Traveller
Day 2 - Raithal - Gui Village (7349ft- 9750ft) 5km, 5 hrs
Day 3 - Gui- Chilapada(9750ft-11000ft) 3 km, 3 hrs
Day 4 - Chilapada - Dayara Bugyal (11, 000ft-12100ft)......Back to Gui
Day 5- Gui - Raithal - Haridwar

Cost of Trek- ₹10,000/- (including food , homestay, tents & conveyance)
