Barbershop BEARD FADE w/ Air Brushed SPRAY ON COLOR | South BRONX NYC

I am in New York City, and I felt it is time to head uptown to The Bronx -- for a new barber experience. I entered the NYC subway, hopped on the 2 train to 3rd Ave in the South Bronx. I want an UPTOWN barber beard trim. I started waling around to get to know the area.

First, I got side tracked by all the street food. I had a Mexican coconut icee, then a slice of pizza and a soda. Eventually I found a barber I liked. I was watching the work inside the barbershop when Williz, who was sitting on the stoop next door, asked me if I wanted a haircut.

I told Williz that I just wanted my beard taken care of. He quickly agreed at $12 for a beard trim & beard fade, and so we went inside. Williz, a 19 year old Dominican-American barber, had started cutting hair at 12 years old, and had been doing haircuts on friends for 5 years. He just recently got a barber chair in this barbershop, the first chair by the window.

Half way through the beard fade, Williz offered a special beard enhancement for $3 more. He said this is a spray-on / air brush coloring will give vivid straight lines to my beard style. I quickly agreed. This was my first time to get a spray on hair color, but it worked fantastic. I would highly recommend this barber.
