Sungai Batu is an archaeological site where the oldest civilization in South East Asia was born.
It is also the oldest kingdom in Malaysia.

Special thanks to Professor Datuk Dr Mokhtar Saidin, a world renowned archeological expert and the man who discovered Sungai Batu site. He took us around and taught us a lot about the history of Kedah.
