On the morning of July 29, 2024, at around 6:30 AM, Trooper Bratton witnessed a maroon Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle slicing through traffic in a construction zone on U.S. 67/167 southbound near the 11-mile marker. Spotting that the motorcycle had no license plate, Trooper Bratton initiated a high-speed pursuit. The rider, a white male dressed in a black hoodie, orange undershirt, blue jeans, and a white helmet, responded by fleeing westbound on I-440.

The chase quickly escalated as the motorcycle reached speeds exceeding 120 MPH, weaving through traffic and even using the shoulder to overtake vehicles. Despite Trooper Bratton’s determined efforts, his patrol vehicle suffered mechanical issues, causing him to lose sight of the suspect and ultimately cancel the pursuit near the 11-mile marker of I-440 westbound.

The suspect remains at large, highlighting the significant risks associated with reckless driving and the relentless challenges law enforcement faces during high-speed pursuits. Watch the full video to witness the intense moments of this pursuit and the dangers these situations pose to public safety.
