I took a bus from Faial da Terra to Furnas to soak up some of the warm water from the natural hot springs. You have to make a reservation online for an hour an a half period for only €8. The bus was €2.95, and the cab back was €30 with a €5 tip. My breakfast of an omelette and drink was €6.50 including tip. And I bought two nice T-shirt’s, lava rock necklace and bracelet for €55.00. I had a nice time, and met a nice man on the bus who said he was from Rhode Island, but born their on São Miguel, who explained about the men who walk around the island praying for others, which is apparently a religious ritual that these men practice every year. All in all, a nice time. The only negative is that I got a little car sickness, nothing too severe. I am trying to get better at editing, but I’m limited right now to an iPad and a somewhat shaky internet connection. Thanks for your support. Tracy ❤️
