City of Dallas Green Business Certification

The City of Dallas Green Business Certification Program recognizes local businesses that prioritize sustainable practices and make conscious decisions to help protect and restore our natural environment. This is a FREE program that encourages all Dallas businesses to participate, regardless of size or industry. 

Managed by the City of Dallas’s Office of Environmental Quality & Sustainability (OEQS), the purpose of the program is to recognize good environmental practices in addition to waste reduction efforts. The revitalized program will strive to enhance customer experience, incorporate community feedback, spread recognition, and stay committed to the City’s Service First Now motto.

Coming summer of 2025, be on the lookout for more information and to submit an application to join the growing list of businesses signing up for the program. Dallas is green, going greener!

In preparation for the release of Dallas’s updated Green Business Certification Program, Natalie Requenez from OEQS is the program team leader, will provide an overview and program update while encouraging us toward a brighter greener future for our communities and natural resources.
