Brazil swept USA in straight sets to close Day 2 at the 2021 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League as the only team across the board not to have dropped a single set yet.

Benjamin Patch (USA): "Brazil seem to be a big rival of ours. We have a lot of history between us and it's usually a very high-energy match when we are together on the court. It's fun. Brazil is always one of my favourite games to play, because there are a lot of personalities across the net. I think there is nothing necessarily missing in our game, we have an opportunity to be at this tournament so long that we have a little bit of time. We have a lot of games in a short amount of time and each game is an experience. So I think nothing is missing, we need more practice playing these games and more opportunities."

Yoandy Leal (Brazil): "It was a great match. USA didn't play with their first starting six, but it was very important to win and to play well. Now we have to continue improving our game during the competition. We still have a lot to do, but winning the first two matches is a good start."
