This recipe shared by our founder @natashatuli is an extremely simple yet super effective way to reduce acne and soothe skin.

Aloe vera soap is incredibly good for your skin! It’s a great moisturizer but also helps to fight skin aging, reduce infections and acne, and boost the healing effects of wounds!

We use 100% natural ingredients to make it, including plants from our farm, but you could twist the recipe and replace or add other stuff.

INGREDIENTS:

5 x Leaves of Aloe Vera, 240 gm
1 x Tsp Essential oil
Food-grade colour (optional)
Coconut Oil - 600 gm
Castor Oil - 200 gm
Olive oil & Cocoa Butter- 50 gms each
Lye – 150 gm mixed in 100 gm water
Tulsi herb- 1 Tsp

STEP BY STEP:

Harvest your aloe Vera leaves, and let them sit in water for 10-15 mins to remove the yellow latex
Scoop out as much gel as possible and compost the green part of the leaves which is a great fertiliser for your garden
Blend the gel until you have a smooth mix
Mix your oils with the Aloe Vera gel & add the Lye solution.
Add dried Tulsi herb and Essential oil (optional) and mix until it’s well incorporated
Add the mixture to a mould
Enjoy your homemade soap
