Beliefs of Jainism:
According to Jain beliefs, Ram and Hanuman attained Moksha from Mount Mangitungi and are now experiencing the perfect bliss of Siddha. The Nirvanakand mentions that Ram, Hanuman, Sugriva, Sudeel, Gavya, Gavaakhyha, Nila, Mahaneel, and ninety-nine crore monks attained Moksha from Mangitungi, making it a revered place of worship for Jain followers. Many idols carved on the rocks on both hills depict beautiful and attractive stone carvings of Yaksha and Yakshini (attendants of the Tirthankaras) and Indra.

In February 2016, The Statue of Ahimsa, a 108 ft idol carved in monolithic stone, was consecrated here. It holds the Guinness World Record as the tallest Jain idol globally.
