A beautiful boat day, sailing and snorkeling!

These guys have been doing a lot of snorkeling on st John and wanted a spot that they hadn't gotten to because it was hard to reach. "Dad" really wanted to do some sailing. So with those thoughts we decided to head to waterlemon cay. Alice Ann snorkled three bouys to start. She was seeing so much cool stuff that Dad decided to join her. After that stop we moved closer to waterlemon cay so Alice Ann could do a circumnavigation of the cay. Then we were off to do some sailing. We hoisted both sails and cut the engines. We sailed down Sir Frances Drake Channel and then through the cut and right over to Christmas cove on great St James. It was such a nice smooth sail. Once in Christmas cove there was lunch, a lot more snorkeling and some relaxing in the hammocks. The ride back to st John was a bit bumpy but Alice Ann seemed to enjoy it up on the tramps!

We had a piece at the end of the boom, that is apparently worn out, decide to break loose today. It smashed one of our solar panels, but with some quick thinking and moving, we handled it in such a way that no one knew anything was wrong. No one got hurt, no one got angry or frustrated, the part will be on its way next week and the solar panel can easily be replaced. I think we can look at this one as a win:~)

Quote of the day.....as Alice Ann was telling everyone, from the water, that she had just seen a shark and was able to keep up with it and swim along with it for a few minutes, her momma said...." I often have to ask, who raised her". :~)). I ask the same question about my kids quite often:~).
