The last update for The Crew already happened months ago but you can still discover some new things even now. Yesterday Akor and hu4yra invited me to some mixed spec PvP races, where we used Perf spec cars against Circuit spec cars.

This is possible whenever there are Summit PvP events with different specs than usual. Yesterday Golden Hills and Highway Hijinks were available for Perf spec in Summit PvP. After playing that we could also select them for Perf spec in a regular lobby, where we got to choose Perf spec cars and the people who didn't play Summit PvP got to choose Circuit spec cars.

You could probably also use this technique to gain an unfair advantage, in case there is a Summit PvP event with a faster spec than usual. In that case I would strongly recommend not using it, at least not in a public lobby.
