Hey everyone! Back with another Creative Labs product review! This time we have the Sound Blater X H7 Tournament Edition usb/analog headset! The headset is light yet durable and with 50mm drivers, performs admirably! Testing it with multiple games, the surround/positional audio did very well as it helped me identify targets better than my previous headset (or any headset i've tried yet), and the preset/custom profiles can help you fine tune the sound style you might be after. They are closed back, and do a pretty good job at sealing away any outside sounds which is both good and bad depending on how you game/where you game. The microphone is on a flexible metal boom, sounds clear, and is removable. It plugs in with a 3.5mm jack. Overall, i really liked this headset and would recommend it, though at its $99 price point it competes with alot of other heavy hitters in the USB gaming headset space.
