Hellboy is making his way back to the big screen April 12th and fans are wondering: How does this R-Rated, ultra-violent remake compare to the Guillermo Del Toro adaptations?

Directed by Neil Marshal, written by Andrew Cosby, and based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy (David Harbour), caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge. Nimue/The Blood Queen (Milla Jovovich) has returned to release a plague on humanity and it’s up to Hellboy to stop it.

Along the way, he teams up with Alice (Sasha Lane), Major Ben Daimio (Daniel Dae Kim) and Professor Broom (Ian Mcshane) to find a way to stop the apocalypse. A wider world of Hellboy is teased in this film, but will we get a sequel? There are definitely 2 post credit scenes that tease something for the future.
