A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli forces in an exchange of fire during a raid in Ramallah. 



The victim, identified as Basel Al-Araj, aged 31, was killed while attempting to flee. 



According to a statement by Palestinian Health Ministry, Israeli troops broke into the Palestinian young man's home and shot him at close range.



Israeli soldiers took away Basel's body, before withdrawing from the area.



The raid sparked clashes between the soldiers and locals near the house and left two other Palestinians injured.
