STRATO-1 Filght - 25.05.2024

On May 25. StratoSpace made their first full-scale Zero-pressure stratospheric balloon flight.
For this Mission the balloon envelope was manufactured by the team, and it was a protototype which could provide floating On a given altitude .
The balloon-platform, developed by the team is ideal for Eath Observation and to demonstrate this capability, a remote sensing camera was placed on board the balloon. The complete flight took 3 hours and the balloon reached an attitude of 14500 meters. After reaching the apogee, with stable descend rate it landed with the aid of the balloon. The recovery team then in short time collected the experiment.
Post-flight data processing and analysis show that the balloon-platform is capable to carry experiments of space companies and research groups to the edge of space.
