HOW TO: Flip Septum Jewellery Up/Down (For small nostrils or flat noses)

Hi friends, pals, and buddies. This is for you, my guys, who have tiny lil nostrils or flat noses and have trouble flipping their septum piercing jewelry up and down. And yes, I’m aware I spelled it two different ways.

Disclaimer: I’ve had mine pierced professionally about 3 weeks ago (I’d done it myself a week before that but it’s a whole different story lmao). So, if you have a fresh piercing, I’d advice you to not play around or flip it up and down too much as this could slow down the healing process and tbh it kinda hurts like a mmfckuh. But if you absolutely have to hide it, try keeping it flipped up at least until 3 weeks. You may also need to use q-tips instead of your fingers. If you need a tutorial on how to use q-tips, HMU.


STEPS:
Flip up-
1. Push one side of jewellery up into one nostril
2. Grab the hanging side of jewellery and twist it outward, it will automatically try to push itself into your nose, so you can easily guide it
3. Play around with it until you are comfortable with placement

Flip down-
1. Push index finger and thumb in nostrils
2. Grab onto jewellery with nails
3. Pull one side out
4. The other side should automatically try to push itself out of your nostril
