This is a classic hand-carved leaf and bird style cuckoo clock that is 19 inches tall. It is made by Hones Uhren in Titisee-Neustadt in the Black Forest of Germany.

At the top of the hour the cuckoo bird emerges from the door at the top and calls the hour followed by one of two melodies that play. The melodies will alternate with the hour. As the music plays four animated dancers will twirl and dance in and out of the clock case. At the bottom of the hour the cuckoo will call only once and no music will play.

The clock is fitted with the German Regula movement #34 which is the best on the market today. It is powered by three cast iron weights which apply power thru the chain drive. This clock is of the eight-day version and must be wound weekly.

This clock is beautifully hand-carved from linden wood.
