Pokemon Shield BATAW - Match #97! Read 'em and Reap!

With the recent release of the Crown Tundra DLC in Pokemon Sword & Shield, I have decided to play a 6-on-6 Single Battle utilizing a team of Pokemon that are now available. I had to use so using the game's Y-Comm feature, but fortunately, I found an opponent that was willing to participate!

What is Pokemon BATAW?

BATAW stands for Battles Any Time, Any Where! Pokemon BATAW is a video series on my channel in which I challenge players around the world in competitive Pokemon battles! Whether the match be a Single Battle or a Double Battle, this series showcases all sorts of battle formats and rulesets that can be played throughout Pokemon Sword & Shield on the Nintendo Switch!

The catch is that I try to construct battle teams using only Pokemon that I've used throughout the various Pokemon walkthroughs and video series on my channel. From the Pokemon that I obtained in my Pokemon White walkthrough in 2010 to now, I have a total of 48 Pokemon that I use to compete. Each of these Pokemon is EV trained and has a tournament-ready moveset. For the most part, the Pokemon that I use in this series are the original Pokemon I obtained from their original, respective video series on my channel, and I've transferred them to my copy of Pokemon Shield using Pokemon Home. In other cases, some Pokemon have been "recreated" or are running alternate EV spreads and rulesets. If I'm using a "recreated" Pokemon, then the Pokemon will have a ♦ symbol in its name.

Whether I win or lose, I want to play against any trainer I can, and I want to demonstrate some of the crazy and unique strategies that my opponents and I can utilize! So if you want to challenge me, then I encourage you to do so by filling out the form posted above! And sure enough, you may just appear in your very own episode of Pokemon BATAW!
