🪔A Vintage Delight for the Festival of Lights 🪔 Dr. M Balamuralikrishna - CNS - VRB - THV (1972)

We are delighted to share with all of you, a restored and digitally remastered live concert of Dr. M Balamuralikrishna (BMK), held sometime in the year 1972.

BMK is accompanied by Sri. Chalakudi Narayana Swamy (violin), Sri. Vellore Ramabhadran (mridangam) and Sri. T H Vinayakaram (ghatam).

BMK, in this beautiful vintage concert presents music in all its splendour and touches the heart of the range of rasikas and their varied expectations.

Owing to the aging of cassette tapes, the audio in some places has some intermittent speed variation. I have tried my best to reduce such variation and I am placing this restored version here with the main purpose of posterity. I sincerely hope you would all enjoy listening to the concert.

I am very grateful to all my friends for their help in getting the tapes for digitization. I am also grateful for all those who have taken care to curate this recording.
