Tour de France 2002 - stage 14 - Lodève to Mont Ventoux, 221 km.
Laurent Jalabert was not in the breakaway on this stage. Instead Richard Virenque was out looking for a big victory that could put him back on top, in the world of cycling. And also try and redeem himself after all his troubles in the previous years.

Joseba Beloki tried his best to attack Lance Armstrong. But Beloki was no match for Armstrong. Instead Armstrong counter attacked and looked very easy going.
