Honda CB500X - How to Wire Accessories - Fuse Block Method

This video shows how to wire an accessory fuse block to the Honda CB500X option connector, installing the fuse block and routing accessory power wires. See my other videos for details of the connector, fuse block, accessories and mounts.

On the option connector under the seat on the CB500X, +12V is the violet/red wire, green is ground. The option connector under the instrument panel has a third wire (blue) which is switched to the high beam light.

I recommend using 16 or 18 gauge wire when wiring accessories. The plastic plug ended up splitting due to the stress from the 12 gauge wire and seal.
