BRIDGEWATER CANAL BREACH! Towpath is Now COLLAPSING!

In this video, me, Mum and dad, head out onto the very dangerous roads after some very heavy snow the night before, things are only getting colder too! But needs must! We have to go and check out the Dunham Massey side of the breach at School lane where they put in the dam, to see how that's doing, and it was recently reported that the towpath is starting to collapse! Then we have to try and get diesel, petrol and shopping!

This is the account of our frightening experience as the Bridgewater Canal breached at Little Bollington, on New Year's day! This breach took place after 16 hours of non-stop heavy rain, that filled the canal up so much that it was going above the towpath and flooding over this put so much pressure on a 260-year-old canal embankment that it completely collapsed into the worst breach since 1971, when the canal breached here, in the exact same spot!
