Selecting Anchor Points in Adobe After Effects, Show And Hide Bounding Box in After Effects.
In this tutorial I will show you selecting anchor points in adobe after effects, show and hide bounding box in after effects.

Selecting Anchor Points in After Effects
In After Effects, the anchor point determines the position around which transformations (like rotation, scaling, etc.) occur. Here's how to select and move it:
Using the Pan Behind Tool (Anchor Point Tool)
1. Select the layer you want to adjust.
2. Press Y on your keyboard (or click the Pan Behind Tool in the toolbar).
3. Click and drag the anchor point to your desired position.

💡 You can also hold Ctrl (Windows) / Cmd (Mac) while dragging to snap the anchor point to layer edges or center.
Precisely Positioning the Anchor Point
1. Select the layer.
2. Press A to reveal the Anchor Point property.
3. Change the numeric values manually for precise placement.

👁️‍🗨️ Show/Hide Bounding Box in After Effects
The bounding box is the rectangular box that appears around a selected layer, allowing for visual transformations like scaling or rotating.
To Show or Hide the Bounding Box:
• Go to the View menu at the top.
• Select Show Layer Controls and make sure it's checked.
• Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+H (Windows) / Cmd+Shift+H (Mac) to toggle visibility of layer controls including bounding boxes.

!!! If bounding boxes still don't appear, make sure the layer is selected and is a 2D or 3D visual layer (not a null or hidden one).

Bonus: Center Anchor Point Quickly
If you want to center the anchor point in the layer:
1. Select the layer.
2. Go to Layer - Transform - Center Anchor Point in Layer Content.
