BEST HIKES in the DOLOMITES, ITALY (part 2): SECEDA and ST JACOB's Church | Ryan Pelle

After the epic hike in Alpe di Siusi, I'm continuing my hikes in the Dolomites, Italy. This time I'm doing the Seceda hike and I'm also doing a hike towards St Jacob's Church.

Seceda is a mountain in the Odle/Geisler Group situated within the Puez-Odle Nature Park in South Tyrol, Italy. The summit of Seceda (2518 meters) is one of the highlights of my hikes in the Dolomites. The peaks look like a Swiss army knife eternally destined to slash the sky. It's one of the most memorable mountain views in the Italian Dolomites.

The hike towards the Church of St Jakob offers one of the most awe-inspiring vistas in the Dolomites. It's rather fitting that a church reachable by foot alone is consecrated to the patron saint of pilgrims and hikers. St Jakob church is the oldest and highest church in the valley.
