I have been doing video reviews for quite some time now. I am a professional photographer and in my down time I love to show off new products and test them out. When I was offered the Igear Crystal Clear Microphone, I jumped at the offer! I currently use my Nikon D600 to film all of my video reviews, and the built in microphone isn’t horrible, but it isn’t great. Through the built in mic on my camera, my voice sounds tinny, and the background noise is severely amplified. The first thing I did was plug it into my camera’s mic input, clip it too my shirt, and start talking! The clip itself is made of a sturdy metal, and is an alligator type clip. The mic itself is metal and comes with a sponge nubby to put over it. If at anytime you lose the clip or the sponge nubby, they do give you an extra set. The Mic was super easy to use and the sound.. well.. is pretty amazing. Just check out the difference in my video! This mic would be great for anyone who uses a mic for the internet (youtube, videos, etc) also good for someone who does presentation, and even great for your ipad to mix and sample vocal tracks.
