I do not see what people see in this boss fight when they say this is one of the more decent fights of this game. I see this as an absolute abomination of a design flaw. I believe, functionality wise, this is the second worst boss fight in the entire game, only to be followed by Tateobesu. Not only because of the camera, but overall Bolverk is not a boss that you can melee even though this is supposed to be a sword fight, especially because of the very sudden and huge range Million Stab that he does. He has no warnings for it, and he will do it from a very far distance, which makes meleeing this boss completely impossible unless you only do like one slash at a time. And Freki and Geri are one of the absolute worst lesser demons in the entire series, along with maybe Puia and The Fallen. The ONE AND ONLY way to stay safe from the wolves is to stay in the air, but it's not possible to stay safe from Bolverk when in the air, which makes this fight COMPLETELY impossible to fight effectively without an excessive amount of luck. This is not a fight that you can get better at by learning it or practicing it.
Thankfully, in the first fight with Bolverk, there is a little platform that you can stand on, which Bolverk cannot get on and the wolves rarely ever come up on as well, so this is the best strategy that I can think of for fighting Bolverk effectively. There is no effective strategy that you can use against Bolverk in the second fight.
