Audeze released some new firmware for the Maxwell 2 that addressed several concerns from reviewers and customers. The performance improvements of the latest firmware, v1.0.2.53_A, were enough where I felt a video was necessary. In the simplest sense, the latest firmware fixed an EQ bug for some that had it, improved mic performance, and improved the sound quality.

There are of course a couple more lingering things to go, with some people having sidetone or hiss issues, but this is a substantial improvement in my overall experience. There is a new mic test as well to show you improvements (at the 53 second mark)!
