PORTAL Companion Collection | Switch VS Steam Deck | Graphics Comparison | Analista De Bits

Описание к видео PORTAL Companion Collection | Switch VS Steam Deck | Graphics Comparison | Analista De Bits

Switch
720p/60fps Handheld & 1080p/60fps Docked
Portal 1 | 2,60Gb
Portal 2 | 7,20Gb

Steam Deck
800p/Handheld & 1440p/60fps Docked with Ultra Settings
Portal 1 | 4,03Gb
Portal 2 | 12,56Gb

Steam Deck works perfectly in Ultra quality at a maximum resolution of 1440p/60fps. At 4K it has stability issues.
Portal 2 works almost perfectly on Nintendo Switch, with slight crashes when entering some portals. Portal 1 is somewhat more unstable, causing crashes in areas with more graphic load.
Nintendo Switch handheld mode disables antialiasing and lowers the quality of anisotropic filtering slightly.
I have not found differences in textures or geometry.
Loading times are amazing on Nintendo Switch. It only takes an average of 2 seconds longer than Steam Deck to load (remember that Steam Deck uses an Nvme SSD).
Switch uses a FOV of 75 in Portal 1 and 90 in Portal 2.
Some shadows have reduced their resolution or skipped their animation on Nintendo Switch. Some contact shadows have also been disabled in this version.
Both platforms have the possibility to use the gyroscope to aim.
All in all, Valve has done a remarkable job with Portal on Nintendo Switch achieving near-perfect 60fps without sacrificing native resolution or visual quality. Highly recommended.
