1968 KE10 Toyota Corolla, Lovingly Restored By Toyota Malaysia |

When Toyota Malaysia unveiled the 12th-generation Toyota Corolla here in Malaysia, it was a proud moment for them, certainly. With its TNGA platform and up-to-the-minute safety & connectivity technology, it was a moment worthy of sparking pride.

But it wasn't their only reason to celebrate. To commemorate Toyota's long & storied history in Malaysia as one of the most iconic & beloved foreign brands on our soil, they chose to return this 1968 Toyota Corolla KE10 back to its former glory. Assembled here over 50 years ago, this KE10 has been a part of the UMW Toyota collection for some time, but extensive work was required to restore it to what we'd describe as 'collectible condition.'

This is the story of the individuals who came together to make it happen. It's always important to remember your roots, and the immense success that the Corolla nameplate enjoys locally today could not have been achieved if not for this KE10 from 1968.
